Akamai Technologies and AT&T will work together on providing content delivery network services to business customers; financial terms of their agreement weren't given. "This shows that the bigger carriers are less interested in trying to do this in-house and more interested in outsourcing," said Michael Olson of Piper Jaffray. "It removes a big cloud that had been hanging over Akamai for years." Akamai last month struck a similar CDN services deal with France's Orange.
