Canada's brands look toward booming Latin America

Brazil now ranks first in spending on fragrances and third in beauty products, and the region's large and growing middle class is also driving higher sales of consumer electronics and other goods. Some 50 million people in Latin American moved up to the middle class in the past decade, according to the World Bank, and the shift is attracting Canadian retailers and consumer product makers to the region.
