Expert: Consider new approach to improve business, augment sales

Propane retailers should try out a new approach in doing business to improve their operations and augment sales, writes Inergy founding partner Carl Hughes. Aside from making an honest assessment of their business' current status, Hughes advises business owners to focus on pursuing opportunities instead of solving problems. Business owners should also take risks, such as considering the possibility of merging with other retailers in their areas if they want their business to grow, Hughes adds.
