Nutrition researchers propose simple food-scoring system

Nutrition-policy analyst Dr. Joanne Arsenault and colleagues at the Research Triangle Institute are proposing a simple scoring system for most foods that people purchase. Their paper in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics says the system gives an overall dietary-quality score by weighing seven nutrients and added sugars.
