Healthy diet costs $1.50 more per day, research shows

The cost of a healthy diet is $1.50 more per day than for an unhealthy one, researchers at Harvard School of Public Health reported in BMJ. The report analyzed data from 27 studies in 10 higher-income countries, looking at price per serving and per 200 calories for specific foods, and at price per day and per 2,000 calories.
