Lexington, Ky., keeps Distillery District incentive

The Lexington, Ky., Urban County Council has tabled a resolution that would remove incentives for its Distillery District, an entertainment area that is hoping to attract developers for infrastructure improvements. The mayor's office wanted to end the incentive because of concerns that new revenue would not offset the incentive. Only $10 million of a projected $190 million developer investment has occurred so far.
