Regulators might miss next financial crisis, experts say

Regulators are focusing too much on breaking up banks and could overlook the next financial crisis, panelists said at an industry conference. "I think they have been chasing after the dogs that do not bark, such as the proprietary desks of banks, rather than the ones that do, such as the government-sponsored enterprises," said Glenn Hubbard, former chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers.
