Traders question SEF ability to offer FX options and NDFs

Foreign exchange traders are questioning whether swap-execution facilities will be able to offer trading of nondeliverable forwards and FX options after an exemption from confirmation requirements expired late last month. Before SEFs came into being, trade counterparties were responsible for issuing confirmations. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission handed that responsibility to SEFs, but experts are doubting their ability to provide confirmations.
