Rand Study Finds Little Evidence Supporting School Choice

Little evidence exists to prove that the burgeoning charter school and tuition voucher movements benefit students or harm traditional public schools, according to a new report by Rand Corp. The four-year study scrutinized hundreds of reports on the issues, concluding that "so many questions remain unanswered that neither the hopes of choice supporters nor the fears of its opponents can currently be confirmed."
