Online shopping jumped 19% in November

U.S. online spending shot up 19% in November compared with the same month last year, according to a joint report by Goldman Sachs, Harris Interactive and Nielsen//NetRatings. E-tailers benefited from improved pricing and incentives such as free shipping, said Nielsen//NetRatings senior analyst Heather Doughterty.
