Q-and-A: Monsanto chief looks at biotech's future

The head of Monsanto says that despite skeptics who continue to see little value in biotech crops, the industry is "well down the path" to turning over farm fields to the products. He noted that in the U.S., 85% to 90% of soybeans, half the corn and about 60% of cotton already are biotech, despite challenges to the practice by environmentalists and others.
