Time Warner exec: AOL to focus on community

AOL, under new CEO Randy Falco, will improve its e-mail service, emphasize video and social networking and may even acquire a marquee property to boost traffic, Time Warner President-COO Jeff Bewkes said yesterday at the annual UBS media conference. "AOL used to lead in [community] and we gave it up to some others we all could name," he said. "We want to go back. We've got 115 million unique users so there's no reason we shouldn't be a leader."
