Samsung makes play for India cell phone business

Samsung has its eye on India after overtaking Motorola for second place globally in the mobile-phone market last quarter. With only 7% of the Indian market currently, Samsung plans to introduce eight new models next year into India, Asia-Pacific's fastest-growing wireless-phone market, in hopes of doubling its market share there.
