API: EPA decision might stunt job growth

The Environmental Protection Agency's declaration that greenhouse-gas emissions are hazardous to human health and should be regulated under the Clean Air Act created a stir among industry groups. American Petroleum Institute President Jack Gerard said the move could stunt job growth and business expansion in the country. "The Clean Air Act was meant to control traditional air pollution, not greenhouse gases that come from every vehicle, home, factory and farm in America," Gerard said.
