Obama: Energy efficiency can help boost green jobs

By making their homes more energy-efficient, Americans can not only reduce their energy costs, but help stimulate the economy by creating jobs in energy-efficient housing, President Barack Obama said at a White House session last week. In one plan, the energy secretary suggested auditors could go into neighborhoods to offer homeowners advice on cost benefits from such actions as insulating their homes.
