Some social-media strategies working, others need help

In 2007, about 4% of retailers were using social media to their advantage. This year, more than half are including social media in their holiday marketing strategies, according to a recent survey from BDO Seidman. This Advertising Age article includes some of the social-media strategies that are working as well as some that need improvement. Best Buy, for example, is singled out as having an interesting, appealing social-networking presence.
