Wisconsin schools increase number of breakfasts being served

Wisconsin schools have made improvements in their efforts to provide breakfast for students, a report shows. While about 50% of schools in the state offered students a morning meal in 2000, nearly two-thirds of schools that provide lunch now provide breakfast as well. "A good breakfast for a young person crosses socioeconomic boundaries, it crosses racial lines," the superintendent of one school district said.
