Study: Most children's hospitals lack basic EHR setup

A study finds that most children's hospitals do not have even the basic infrastructure necessary to implement EHRs, mainly because of the costs. "As we devote efforts and invest financial resources toward expanding use of EHR systems, we must ensure that children's hospitals, and the patients they care for, are not left behind," the study authors said.
