Technicolor unveils software tool to ensure high-quality 3D content

Looking to ensure a consistently high-quality 3D experience for viewers, Technicolor announced it has developed Certifi3D, a set of baseline requirements for broadcasters and network service providers who deliver 3D content to the home. Pierre Routhier, the vice president for 3D product strategy and business development at Technicolor, said the software-based tool is important because "if viewers get headaches and nausea it can impact their interest in 3D TV more than the issue of little content."
