Many children's cereals are loaded with excess sugar

An Environmental Working Group study found that two-thirds of 84 breakfast cereals marketed to children exceeded the government's recommended sugar content. Only 1 in 4 children's cereals met all of the recommendations by the Interagency Working Group on sugar, sodium, saturated fat and whole grains, the researchers said.
