McDonald's aims to grow amid lower NYC rents

McDonald's Manhattan restaurant count has held steady at 73 for several years, but the chain plans to add up to 10 new New York City locations in the next three to five years. Increased demand is part of the driving force, the company says, and lower post-recession retail rents also help, according to the broker scouting locations.
