New Ebola vaccine has long-term shelf life

A new Ebola vaccine provided 80% protection in mice studies and is the first with long-term viability. As opposed to previous vaccines that used actual Ebola viral components, the new vaccine contains synthetic protein, which is much more stable and can be stored for long periods of time.
