Even as new media platforms proliferate, marketers say they still rely on traditional methods such as trade show participation, according to a Marketing Sherpa survey. Large companies say a third of their budgets go to trade shows, more than any other category. The report finds experienced marketers more likely are to invest in automation and pay-per-click strategies, as these require a more nuanced understanding of how a company generates leads.
