AMR creditor lawyer weighs in on pilot-contract vote

The lawyer for AMR's team of creditors reportedly told members of the Allied Pilots Association that a vote to reject a proposed labor contract would lead to the pilots losing their 13.5% stake in the company if a merger were to take place with US Airways Group. Jack Butler, of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, spoke with pilots, anonymous sources say. The vote on the new contract is scheduled to end today.
