GAP sues FDA for not disclosing data on food animal antibiotics

The Government Accountability Project sued the FDA alleging that the agency's decision to "withhold agency data regarding the sale of antibiotics for use in food animals" is against the law. GAP filed a Freedom of Information Act request that sought information regarding the amount of food animal antibiotics sold in 2009.
