Medtech sector drew $434M in VC funding in Q3, report says

A report from the National Venture Capital Association and PricewaterhouseCoopers finds the medtech sector secured $434 million in venture capital financing from 65 deals during the third quarter of this year, which is said to be "the lowest dollar level since 2004." The decline is driven in large part by the impending medical device tax, a Cook Medical executive said.
