Moment of silence begins Pearl Harbor anniversary ceremony

Thousands gathered in Hawaii today to mark the 71st anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, which launched the U.S. into World War II. The memorial began with a moment of silence at 7:55 a.m. local time, the time the attack began, to remember the 2,390 service members and 49 civilians who died in the assault.
