NYC primary care doctors to get help for patients with PTSD

The New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene will give up to 8,000 primary care physicians in New York City the Human Interactive Game Engine, a role-playing activity to help identify and treat patients with traumatic illnesses following Hurricane Sandy. The game is based on social cognition and neuroscience research and includes multiple scenarios.
