Survey foresees some hiring in 2013

About half of recruiters surveyed said they expect to hire more workers in the first half of 2013 than they did in the second half of 2012, a Dice Holdings survey says. Hiring managers were more likely to have plans to hire workers with at least two years of experience than to have plans to hire entry-level employees, the survey found. "If greater confidence returns, I firmly believe hiring managers and professionals will be emboldened to act more decisively," says Scot Melland, Dice's chairman and CEO.
