Why all students may not need tablets

In this blog post, journalist Swati Prasad suggests that while there have been widespread efforts to introduce tablet computers in India's classrooms, the students in village schools -- not cities -- will benefit most from the technology. She finds that while there are drawbacks to using the devices in more connected schools in India's cities, tablets offer more opportunities and resources for students in rural villages.
