Del. school's Project CIVICS helps students in need for Christmas

Teachers and students in social studies classes at Caesar Rodney High School in Delaware will team up for the seventh-annual Project CIVICS program to raise money and buy Christmas gifts to fulfill the wish lists of district students who are in need. "It's a social studies standard to teach kids civic responsibility and participation," said social studies teacher Carla Lawson, who started the project in 2006.
