Arizona fears seniors won't be able to pass new exit exam

The Arizona state Board of Education on Monday voted to allow seniors multiple retakes of the state assessment, which becomes a graduation requirement in 2006. School administrators, though, would rather create an alternative general diploma for students who complete their course work and post good attendance but still can't pass the AIMS.
