Fox names Abernethy CEO of O&Os, Twentieth Television

Jack Abernethy has been named CEO of Fox Television Stations, where he'll oversee Fox's 35 owned and operated stations and Twentieth Television, which is responsible for cable and syndicated programming. Lachlan Murdoch, deputy chief operating officer of parent company News Corp., had overseen the units directly since the departure a year ago of Mitchell Stern, who is now president and CEO of DirecTV.
