Nestle revamps China strategy

Nestle SA has set its sights on profitability in the Chinese food and beverage market by retooling its organizational structure along business lines, cutting prices and expanding its distribution network over the past few years. While Nestle pioneered many sectors in China, the company has not been quick enough in its expansion efforts and has lost ground to some competitors in some categories, including bottled water and candy.
