West Virginia warns employers to pay for workers' comp

West Virginia, in the midst of privatizing its workers' compensation program, said it will not tolerate employers who do not pay premiums. The state will dump employers who fail to meet the Jan. 1 deadline for payments, according to Greg Burton, head of the new BrickStreet Mutual Insurance Co.
