Draft FCB loses Wal-Mart account after marketer fired

Interpublic Group's Draft FCB is out as the lead agency on the $580 million account for Wal-Mart Stores, which is reopening the review in the wake of its decision to fire top marketer Julie Roehm, amid allegations she took gifts from ad agencies and played favorites with potential vendors. Roehm has denied the charges. Wal-Mart, citing "new information," is not including Draft FCB in the new review, although Aegis Group's Carat USA, which had won the media portion, will be eligible.
