GE Aviation lands two engine contracts

GE Aviation on Thursday said it has received large orders for two different engines. Lufthansa placed a $950 million order for 20 Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental aircraft powered by the GEnx engine. GE will also provide engines for new 737s that Delta Air Lines has ordered.
