Report: EU sticks to proposed 10% biofuel target

Member countries of the EU, along with the European Parliament and the European Commission, have decided to uphold a January proposal that calls for the use of vehicle fuels mixed with 10% biofuel by 2020, according to a report from Deutsche Welle. The deal also states that only biofuels that can reduce greenhouse-gas emissions by 50% will be included in the 10% goal by 2017, according to the report.
