After scandal, metals man polishes his image

Former Siemens chief Klaus Kleinfeld is hoping to put a multibillion-dollar bribery scandal behind him and restore his reputation as CEO of U.S. aluminum company Alcoa. To do so, he's playing down his past struggle to cope with Siemens' internal politics, and instead seeking to cast himself as a hands-on leader with a genuine interest in the intricacies of aluminum smelting.
