CSX intermodal plan wins support from conservation groups

CSX's proposed $850 million Mid-Atlantic intermodal route has garnered additional support from key environmental groups. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation, The Conservation Fund and the Ohio Environmental Council have announced support for the project, which will link Mid-Atlantic ports and Midwestern markets while reducing carbon dioxide emissions and highway truck traffic.
