EPA carbon ruling could increase energy costs, industry groups say:

The Environmental Protection Agency's declaration of carbon dioxide as a health hazard could burden businesses with higher expenses, said industry groups. The EPA's endangerment finding allows it to issue regulations that might lead to higher costs, job reduction and project delays. Instead of EPA-issued regulation, industry groups prefer that Congress pass climate-change legislation to curb carbon emissions, in line with suggestions made by the White House and the EPA itself.
