ExxonMobil clears $15B natural gas project in Papua New Guinea

ExxonMobil's $15 billion liquefied natural gas venture in Papua New Guinea has received final approval and is expected to begin deliveries to Taiwan, China and Japan by 2014. The project also allows ExxonMobil and its partners to seek more gas -- expanding the site's capacity and increasing its profits.
