Supreme Court examines the boundaries of Arizona's immigration law

Several Supreme Court justices have determined that Arizona's law regarding businesses that hire undocumented workers does not go beyond the state's congressionally mandated power to deal with immigration issues. However, it is possible the justices could end up in a 4-4 split when they release their ruling, which is expected this summer. If that is the case, the law could survive, even though clarification of states' powers could remain absent.
