Chefs share their picks for 2012's hot food trends

Locally sourced meats and seafood topped the National Restaurant Association's "What's Hot in 2012" survey, which asked 1,800 chefs for their predictions. Local produce came in at No. 2, and healthful kids meals, hyper-local items and sustainability as a culinary theme rounded out the top five.
