Social media is radically changing the ways in which stock traders get their information, experts say. News and opinions spread fast on social media sites, raising the bar for financial-news services and for stock analysts. "A guy in Kansas can be the expert on grains, rather than the guy who trades grain stocks in New York. The Kansas guy can look out his window and tweet what he sees," StockTwits CEO Howard Lindzon says.
