Ky. considers plan to expand online, personalized education

Education officials in Kentucky are considering a plan to expand the use of digital learning for the state's students. The proposed Digital Learning 2020 initiative calls for a transition to digital materials and assessments plus increased access to online learning and personalized learning for students. "We have to find ways to provide more one-on-one opportunities for our students," said David Cook, director of the state Education Department's innovation division.
