Video act amendment could be a boon to Netflix strategy

An amendment to the Video Privacy Protection Act could be a huge boost to Netflix by easing privacy hurdles for an application that would integrate with Facebook. While the House is on board, the Senate has yet to introduce a similar bill, and one privacy advocacy group isn't happy with the legislation. The Netflix software would let Facebook users see what films or TV content friends are watching and would let users watch as well via Facebook.
