CMS: ACA enrollment file errors down to 1 in 10 since Dec. 1

Errors may be found in approximately 1 in 4 electronic transactions sent from HealthCare.gov to insurance companies in October and November, the Obama administration said Friday. CMS spokeswoman Julie Bataille said recent fixes lowered the error rate since the start of December to approximately 1 in 10. The errors with the 834 form generally involve mistaken data, lack of a file or duplicate files, Bataille said.
