Esquire Network sees all-original slate as key long-term goal

Esquire Network, which debuted in late September, is working toward its long-term goal of all-original content by focusing initially on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Among "a ton" of series in the pipeline, the network will unveil two new shows in January: "Friday Night Tykes," about young football players, and "Horse Players," about professional horse racing handicappers. Esquire magazine has run six full-page ads in its September and December issues to help introduce the channel.
