Households with people in the 50-to-59 age range are an important "advice opportunity" for financial advisors because individuals nearing retirement know they need financial advice and are willing to pay for it, according to a study by Cerulli Associates. Advisors can attract clients in this age group by showing them how making good decisions early can improve the outlook for their retirement, the study concluded.
